Tablet Sony S1, Can Resist The iPad?

Sony finally introduced the tablet product. Sony S1 will have a big challenge from Apple iPad 2. Here are some of the reasons Sony will have difficulty against Apple.

First, although these tablets have been published since the end of April 2011, this tablet will not be found on the market until the fall, or about four months. At that time, Apple may already solve the problem of supply shortage and have flooded the market with millions iPad 2.

Lack of information makes people assume that S1 has not been completed. In addition to the operating system (OS), Android 3.0 Honeycomb, Wi-Fi and 3G/4G, 9.4-inch screen size and resolution of 1280x800 pixels, no other information.

In contrast, when RIM introduced the Playbook and HP with Touchpad, the two companies provide detailed information.

Second, the tablet S1 seems to have a price equal to the iPad 2, considering Sony is also a manufacturer of premium products. For example on TV, Sony TV will have a price more expensive than similar models made by Korean competitors.

Third, Sony still rely Qriocity media service for audio, video and ebook. This service is the answer to Sony over Apple's iTunes service. Will Qriocity success?

Not likely, because companies like Amazon, Netflix, Tesco, Walmart, and Spotify has not shown signs of interest. In addition, there is no significant difference in the supply of this product with other tablets on the market
