Sony Announces 2 New PlayStation Tablet



The presence of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has been brought to the PlayStation line of video game enthusiasts Android based mobile devices. This smartphone has a design that resembles a PSP Go and carry the Android operating system 2.3 Gingerbread. 


However, Sony is apparently not satisfied. Along with the increasing fierce competition tablet, two tablets Sony also launched its first PlayStation.

At  recent conference, Sony announced that they will be putting out two tablet devices this coming Fall. Sony has today unveiled its two tablet devices that will be capable of (officially) playing PlayStation games, currently known as the S1 and S2 internally.

The first PlayStation tablet named S1 powered with Tegra processors and equipped with a screen size of 9 ". S1 has a design similar to tablets in general. In contrast to S1, the second PlayStation tablet named S2 will have a clamshell design like the Nintendo DS. S2 is equipped with two touch screens, each measuring 5.5 "with 1024 × 480. When playing the game, bottom of the screen S2 to function as a controller, while the top screen as a video game display.

Both of tablets  using the Android operating system 3.0 Honeycomb with Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G. Tablet S1 and S2 are equipped with PlayStation suite and is compatible with Sony's online music service and e-book store.
